Information Collection and Use

2i NOVA, INC. has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy. The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices at 2i NOVA, INC.

2i NOVA, INC. will not sell or rent the personally identifiable information of its veterinary practice or the information of the practices pet-owners and pets, unless it benefits YOU and YOU have agreed to such use in writing.

2i NOVA, INC. may disclose personal information when required by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary in order to conform to the edicts of law or comply with a legal process served on our Web site.

Sharing

We may use an outside shipping company to ship orders and a credit card processing company to bill users for goods and services. We may partner with other parties to provide specific services. When a veterinary practice places an order or signs up for these services, names or other contact information that are necessary to provide these services may be shared between the parties. These parties are not allowed to use personally identifiable information except for the purpose of providing their specific service(s). We may also share aggregate de-identified benchmark and demographic information with our partners. This sharing is statistical and does not disclose any personal information that can identify any individual person unless, as stated above, it is to Your benefit and with your written approval.

Notification of Changes

If any material changes are to be made in our privacy practices we will, 30 days prior to the changes taking effect, send a notification to the email address provided by the veterinary practice and post the changes in our privacy statement on our homepage. At the time of the notification, YOU will be able to opt-out of this information usage by sending a message to the following email: admin@2inovainc.com.

Security

2i NOVA, INC’s website has security measures in place to protect the access, loss, misuse and alteration of the data and personally identifiable information under its control. The security and integrity of veterinary practice data is our business. 2i NOVA, INC. employs security measures but does not yet use encryption technology like banks and the US Government. After the 2i NOVA, INC. product is installed on the veterinary practice's PC, the "data" (from the files selected by the veterinary practice) and the veterinary practice's personally identifiable information are not encrypted right at the veterinary practice's PC before being transmitted over the Internet to 2i NOVA, INC. Once 2i NOVA, INC. receives the veterinary practice's transmission, it is authenticated, protected from the outside by a firewall and the data is stored at this stage in its non-encrypted form within 2i NOVA, INC’s system. A password is required before retrieving of the veterinary practice's data can begin. Our BACK-UP ROUTINE never commits the veterinary practice's password to permanent storage (anywhere), never transmits it to 2i NOVA, INC. and it cannot be recreated from anything the veterinary practice transmits to 2i NOVA, INC. At 2i NOVA, INC., access to veterinary practice's personally identifiable information is identical to all the information that is stored in your Practice Management System.
